Description
A Clinometer is any of various surveying instruments for measuring angles of elevation, slope, or incline, with respect to gravity. Also called an Inclinometer or gradiometer, these precision instruments provide accurate real-time measurement of slope in Degrees. Rieker manufacturers these manual type inclinometers using precise glass tube and ball construction. All our tubes are filled with a special damping fluid that controls the movement of the ball. The fluid combined with large, clear number and degree markings make it easy to get quick, accurate readings under a wide variety of severe environmental conditions.
Applications
Rieker Clinometers are the industry standard - typically used on sail boats and watercraft to indicate small changes in attitude and provide real time angle of the vessel. Other applications include aerial lift/off-road material handlers, cranes, construction equipment, aircraft, submarines, military and government vehicles for leveling, balancing and preventing roll-over.
